Pillar Two — Migration

Private-vehicle safaris, timed to where the herds actually are.

We route every safari around the wildebeest migration's seasonal position, not a fixed lodge calendar — so a July trip heads for the western corridor, and a February trip finds the calving grounds in the south.

Where We Go

Four parks, each doing a different job in the itinerary.

Serengeti National Park

The core of most itineraries — endless plains, the highest predator density in the ecosystem, and the migration itself for much of the year.

2–4 NightsBest: Year-Round

Ngorongoro Crater

A single self-contained caldera holding one of Africa's densest concentrations of wildlife, including its healthiest black rhino population.

1–2 NightsBest: Year-Round

Tarangire National Park

Baobab-studded landscape and Tanzania's largest elephant herds, at its most dramatic in the dry season when animals crowd the river.

1–2 NightsBest: Jun–Oct

Lake Manyara National Park

A compact groundwater-forest park often used as a gentle first or last day, known for tree-climbing lions and dense birdlife.

Day TripBest: Year-Round
